Q: What is semi permanent make up?
A: Semi-Permanent make up, also known as micropigmentation, is a revolutionary method of inserting small amounts of pigment into the dermal layer of the skin in order to enhance a woman’s features. This state-of-the art procedure has been used by models, actors, and entertainers as a means of enhancing their appearance.
Q: Is it micropigmentation or microblading?
Q: What’s the difference between microblading and micropigmentation?
A: Micropigmentation is permanent eyebrow tattooing or semi-permanent makeup method. This method is done with a digital machine. The color is implanted deeper into the skin-known as the dermal layer. It lasts longer than Microblading/Eyebrow Embroidery method.
Q: Do I need to pay for a consultation?
A: No – but if you decide during the consultation that you want to go ahead and book a treatment then I will need to take a £50 non-refundable deposit at this stage to secure your booking.
Q: Is it painful having the treatments done?
A: It all depends on the person. Some people actually find the treatment relaxing and some do find it uncomfortable. However, I apply a topical anaesthetic to minimise any pain.
Q: What are 3D Brows?
A: Depending on what you want or how much hair you already have, I use my signature hair stroke only, shaded or combination methods to create the perfect brows for you and give a 3D natural effect.
Q: What are Gloss & Go™ lips?
A: These are the famous semi-permanent lips created by Tracie Giles to beautifully enhance, shape and colour. Choose from an amazing range of colours to tint and line your lips to give an illusion of fullness. Instead of putting on your lip liner and lipstick every day you can simply ‘Gloss & Go’. This is such a beautiful treatment and my favourite to do.
Q: How often do I need to have top ups?
A: The cost of each treatment includes a free top up 6-8 weeks after the initial treatment. This will complete the look and keep your colour looking fresh. After this, I would recommend annual top ups. Every client is different, some like to come every 6 months and some even leave it for almost 2 years!
Q: Is semi-permanent make up suitable for everyone?
A: Mostly yes! Semi-permanent make up is for anyone and everyone. There are some reasons as to why you could have have a treatment or may need a letter from your GP but we will discuss this at the consultation stage.
Q: What do I need to do to look after my new lips or brows after the treatment?
A: After the treatment I will give you an aftercare sheet confirming everything you need to do to and the things that you need to avoid during the healing process.
